I'm humbled, honored and most grateful to have been elected to serve on the Board of Selectman in Fairfield. ...and I'm eager to get to work! Thank you for your support and for believing in my ability to make a difference.
Mine is a bittersweet victory, to be certain; there were some painful defeats for our Town and these losses are not lost on me.
A heartfelt thanks to our First Selectman, Mike Tetreau, for his many years of service and dedication to the town of Fairfield; his legacy will carry on. Because of Mike's stewardship, we're in a solid financial position; we're a leader on the environment; we're the number one business-friendly community in the State; our schools are among the top 10 in Connecticut.
Unfortunately, a serious crisis emerged during a time of great political division and polarization -- and just months before the Election.
We are now a community in need of healing. I promise to work tirelessly to honor Mike's legacy, to restore the public trust and to help move Fairfield forward in a positive direction. I'll continue to work hard and smart with kindness and transparency.
Very sincerely yours, Nancy

Nancy Lefkowitz (RTM, D1 and Chairperson of the Public Health and Safety Committee) is running for Selectman to create more changes that will positively impact the health, safety and well-being of you, your family, your neighbours...and hers, too.
Nancy grew up in Westport and is a 17-year resident of Fairfield, a married mom of three and a Senior Vice President at Tribeca Enterprises. People who know her say she's the go-to person when something needs to get done. She has been an ardent advocate on the issue of gun violence prevention, a founding member of TIME'S UP New York and the First Democrat elected to the RTM in District 1.
Nancy is running for Selectman to continue getting things done to ensure a happy, healthy, unified Fairfield for all residents.
I like spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, hiking, solving the world's problems around a kitchen table, reading; playing Scrabble, solving jigsaw puzzles, laughing until it hurts, creating order from entropy, organizing closets, traveling, eating, drinking, being merry, making things possible and getting it done…!
